Department of Master of Computer Applications (MCA) was established in the year 2004-05 with an intake of 60 students, with the approval of AICTE and affiliated to the JNTU, Anantapur. Within a short span of 4 years the department has grown to a level in terms of infrastructural and academic standards on par with other premier institutions in the country. The department has acquired latest hardware and software.
The department is fortunate enough to have both experienced and young committed faculty. Majority of the faculty members are actively involved in research and development activities. The faculty has attended many training programs conducted by various organizations. The college management encourages the faculty members to attend workshops, conferences, seminars to update their knowledge.
MCAs are specially groomed for applications. In the fast changing commercial environment, the MCAs have immense opportunities to exhibit their talents in business applications including Marketing, Production, Distribution logistics, Accounts, Finance, Human Resources Development, etc,.
These with involvements in an array of Enterprise Resources Planing packages like SAP, Oracle Finance and People Soft offer massive job opportunities and growth potential.
MCAs being the architects of business applications can offer solid support to the Transaction Processing System and Design Effective Management Information to change the business operations dynamically. Indeed, MCAs are considered the Change Agents in business environment.
The business revolution presents a new dimension to their career. In the years to come, almost all organizations business, social or Government will be on Web if they have to survive and grow. This new trend by itself provides a very bright future to the application developers.

The educational objectives for MCA program are designed to produce competent engineers who are ready to contribute effectively to the advancement of Computer Science engineering causes and to accommodate the needs of the community. These objectives are as follows:
